What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?

I think just having a TA around or a professor would make it somewhat easier to ensure that the folding was being done correctly, but thankfully we had the TA eventually come over and check on how we were doing and it helped to ensure that we are doing the lab correctly.

I believe the lab did a good job of explaining the different features of MGC and what it has to offer, so I think the lab worked perfectly.

What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?

The tutorial that we walked through helped to explain the process very well, which helped me to learn a lot of ArcGIS Pro and I would not have changed anything.

I would not have changed anything for the lab since it went over all of the important features needed to operate this UAV.

What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?

I would not have changed anything personally since I felt like the lab was fairly easy to understand and follow. One observation I noticed is my peers did not retain everything from the lab demos, but I was able to help out and explain more about what is being done and why.

Just like the lab before, I had to help my peers with trying to finish the maps and understanding the processes behind reaching the end point. I did not find the lab difficult or hard to follow.

  Introduction Building upon the map fundamentals learned from the lab demo before, the data from the Wolf Paving Piles are used once again for volumetric analysis, but data from the Litchfield Paving Piles area was also used for volumetric analysis and for other data processing. Building Maps with UAS Data

  Introduction Data collection with UAS is one skill to have, but the ability to take that data, process it within GIS software, and create maps and layouts from it are another valuable skill to own. It is important to present the information processed and displayed in a manner that is easy for others to understand and comprehend, rather than showing screenshots without much context to them. This lab went through a demo that covered layouts and the process of creating maps within ArcGIS Pro. The demo covered the Wolf Paving pile areas. Methods During this lab demo, there were multiple types of maps were generated, which will be discussed later in this post. The basic components of all maps are the compass arrow, scale bar, locator map, metadata, legend, and a watermark.  When adding the data within ArcGIS Pro, it is important to build pyramids and calculate statistics. Installing and Using Measure Ground Control

  Introduction During the transition of UAVs from a hobby to an actual profession and commercial use, there has been an apparent need for integration within the National Air Space (NAS) and how it fits within the professional world. Mission planning has become an apparent need within the different applications of UAS. Measure Ground Control (MGC) is a mission planning software that integrates flight plans, NAS map, and the ability to fly freely with DJI drones.  Methods To better explore the functionality of MGC, this lab explored the different features that it has to offer. For the flight planning aspect of Measure, the NAS map feature was explored first.
